Many countries speak Spanish as their native tongue

Today there are around four hundred million people who speak Spanish. Of the many Spanish Speaking Countries, are Argentina, Chile, Cuba, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela.
The Spanish language is old and has a historical past. Dubbed one of the romance languages, it has a long proud history. There are many slight variations in the language, due mostly to local idioms and slang terminology.
The Spaniards called Spanish español, although Castilian or castellano is the correct term for the language in many Spanish speaking countries. Which ever name is used, the language is extremely popular around the world, with tourism and economics among reasons to learn this language. The increase in Spanish speakers in the US is a good reason to learn some of their language.
