Why broadband is better
August 31st, 2008 by admin
Broadband internet is the gateway to utilizing the full capabilities of the internet, especially when considering high speed DSL providers. Well, utilizing as much as we can so far. Currently, we are not to constantly stream a high quality HD movie to our computers with some sort of lag or buffer wait. The benefit of broadband internet is the capacity of information that it can transfer compared to a standard dial up connection. Which would be better: 56-256 kb a second or 7 or more mega bits a second? You tell me which one you would rather view web pages with. High speed provides the means necessary to keep up with the fast paced world. A dial up connection used today would make most employees tear their hair out. Why else is high speed better? No dial up connection! It’s always on and ready to go at any time. Like a personal servant waiting to bring you whatever content is out there on the information super highway.
