Mark Shuttleworth sells his Digital Cert company for millions and goes off into space!

Mark Shuttleworth is a well known Internet millionaire from Cape Town in South Africa. Back in the early days of the internet (actually less than 10 years ago!), Mark started a company called Thawte which provided Digital Certificates or Digital Cert to online businesses to make their site more secure. Anyway, Mark sold Thawte to the US company VeriSign in 1999 for millions of dollars. Mark has now the time and resources to pursue life to the full. He recently realised a lifelong dream to fly in space by purchasing a place in the Russian Sace program.
