The high cost of ms exchange

IT upgrades are always a necessary investment. Most of them tend to be investments of a short term nature because as soon as they are procured and installed they are out of date. When it was first proposed that we go with Microsoft Exchange 2007 I was excited about the prospects. Then we got to the bottom line and the price tag was revealed. I do not mind investing money but do not want to sell the business and that is what is sounded like they were asking. Now we are investigating a hosted ms exchange. Someone else will make the massive investment and then we will help them to spread the cost and make a profit.
