Takara and Hasbro Transformer Toys

Transformer toys are produced by Takara and Hasbro. Transformer toys were first introduced into the US in 1984 and were remakes of already released toys in Japan. The main difference in transformers figures is their ability to transform from one form to another. There are two main distinctions in the toy line: there are the “good” Autobots and the “evil” Decepticons. There is a long line of different characters that fall into these two categories. You can find Transformers toys at any big box store and online. You may be able to find an original transformer toy dating back to 1984; that would be a treasure.
