Missed Calls and Lost Luggage

This last trip was a whirlwind of missed calls, lost luggage, car rental coupons and sleepless nights for me. I can’t believe how much they tried to cram in to three days, and how many times I just barely missed Janet’s calls. As it turns out, nothing too important slipped through the cracks, and my luggage finally turned up, just in time for the return leg. A lot of good it did me then but at least I didn’t lose anything, and fortunately I had every thing I really needed in my carry on. Just teaches me I need to pack a little lighter. I’m also going to look into a new cell phone. It would have been nice to catch Janet in real time (and spare myself some of the more boring moments of the meetings).
