What is exactly a door closer and how is it of value to today’s various forms of edifices? Defined simply – a door closer is a mechanical device that is placed on doors so that it closes the door after someone opens it, and if I may add – gently. Typically, a door closer may come in two general types: a manual closer and an automatic one – both as functional as the other. Of course, door closers are valuable safety door mechanisms that are indeed necessary for your home’s or office’s doors and this is for the reason that door closers provide you with a reliable security and door convenience for you and the members of the household. But while providing safety to your homes, a door closer is definitely essential to commercial establishments too – this, considering the large crowd of people who come and go through the different office’s doors in the building.
