Are You A Fan Of Chickpeas?

I’m a big fan of chickpeas and so is my 4-year old daughter, they are just so versatile and easy to deal with. What can I make with chickpeas you may ask? There are quite a few possiblities.
You can add them to soups and stews for some extra protein and fiber. They are especially good in chili in addition to any other beans you use.
You can sprinkle them on top of salads to give them a little crunch and make it a more filling meal.
Throw them into your blender or food processor along with a little salt, some tahini (or peanut butter) a touch of olive oil and just about any other seasoning (roasted peppers and garlic are especially good) for instant fresh hummus which makes a great dip for veggies or pita chips.
Toast them in the oven or in a dry skillet and season with salt and pepper or cumin for a healthy snack.
