Straight stair lifts are for straight staircases

Straight stair lifts are for installation on straight staircases. Curved stair lifts are custom-made for staircases with a sub-landing between two sets of stairs, or staircases that are not straight. While some of the stair lifts are designed for home use, some of them can be used outside their homes as well. Many models are battery-powered so one can free themselves from the hassle of worrying about messy cables since they are placed in a storage box that is attached onto the chair. Other stair lifts are designed to make installation a simple and speedy process. Certain stair lifts are available only in certain countries in Europe.
