You have heard of the diet journal. Here is another idea: the diet schedule. This is a way of planning each meal and snack ahead of time. Make sure, of course, that you have the food that you write on your schedule, or are getting ready to buy it. If you like, you can add calorie count, then you can have a total for each day and week. The main idea, though, is to write down what you are going to eat so that you don’t slide into emotional, or social eating.
