How to Start a Charity Organization
April 25th, 2009 by admin
The first step for any kind of business is to obtain funding to cover startup costs. Fortunately, starting a charity doesn’t require too much money if you are willing to sacrifice the time. Getting your name out there is easy with the internet, especially something free like Facebook or Myspace. The goal is always to raise as much money as possible once you’re up and running. Most successful plans give back anywhere from 97-85% of everything they bring in. Take notes from the organizations that you have heard of (unless of course they’re in trouble for something). Remember, everything started with an idea, so do not be discouraged in the early hours.
