time management techniques — not a mystery, but a skill

Many people think that people who are very effective in their use of time have learned to master some sort of mystical secret. Actually, nothing could be further than the truth — time and management techniques are nothing more than a series of skills that can be taught, learned, and mastered — just like we can learn to drive an automobile or operate a computer, we can learn to take charge of the utilization of our own time. When we come to the realization that, this is not a mystery but a skill, this can give us encouragement and incentive to improve ourselves, as well as help others.
