Deleted Scenes

Yesterday I posted about word counts in my writing and it got me thinking. Now, I know this is not as related to graphic design in Ann Arbor as my posts usually are, so forgive my segue posts for a while. My sister-in-law posted this wonderful comment: “Maybe you could have a section at the end of the book for deleted scenes like in the movies.” I absolutely love that idea. Maybe because I love movies and outtakes so much. I don’t think my agent would love this idea, but surely I could come up with a way to work that idea into a novel. Like, a movie-obsessed character (not a stretch) who narrates via scene “takes” and “deleted scenes” and whatnot. Thanks for the awesomeness, sister!
