Looking into Temporary Car Insurance

My husband and I do not have car insurance on our cars right now. We are both good drivers and have never gotten into any accidents. However, our daughter is coming home from college for a month in the summer and she will be driving our car and that has made us re-think car insurance! We are looking into temporary car insurance. We would just want to have insurance on our cars while she was driving them. It does not seem to make sense to insure it for the entire year when we never have before. We are looking into our options and will pick a plan soon so it will be in place when she gets home.
