Hand drums let you connect with your inner self

Of all the drums I have had the pleasure of playing, hand drums are by far my most favorite. The reason being is that hand drums, unlike regular drum sets or snare drums or bass drums, provide you with the unique experience of your hand actually making contact with the drum. While this may sound juvenile or silly, it is this difference that makes playing the hand drums quite unique. It really gives you a sense of becoming one with the drum, as if the drum and the rhythm that you are making with it are an extension of your inner self.
